Gas corrosion test for metals, plating and electronic parts are widely performed, originally for testing the corrosion resistance to hydrogen sulfide (H2S) in hot springs and volcanic region, and also the corrosion resistance to sulfur dioxide (SO2) emitted from thermal power plants. As the use in corrosion testing include sulfur dioxide (SO2), hydrogen sulfide (H2S), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), chlorine (Cl2), and ammonia (NH3).  Today, gas corrosion test using a mixture of these gases (primarily SO2, H2S, NO2 and Cl2) at low concentration has become popular because of its correlation with the actual atmospheric gas condition where electronic parts and digital prints are used. In order to perform accurate gas corrosion tests, measuring and controller capable of controlling SO2, H2S and NO2 at a constant low concentration using optical measurement method, but there has been no adequate method, but there has been no adequate method to measure low-concentration Cl2 gas concentration in the test chamber is an absolute necessity to perform Cl2 gas corrosion tests with good repeatability. This paper is an introduction of our new automatic gas concentration measuring device for low-concentration Cl2 gas.
