The first building was called “Higashi Okubo Factory”, which was a two-story wooden building: there were an office and a factory manufacturing laboratory glassware and temperature chambers on the 1st floor, and there was a factory manufacturing pH meter on the 2nd floor.
Besides laboratory glassware, temperature chambers and pH meters, projectors and recorders were manufactured in response to customers’ request. Then, we gradually manufactured instruments related to measure meteorological factors such as ozone concentration measuring instrument and radiometer.
